The working principle of air filter 1. Dry inertial air filter
The dry inertial air filter is composed of a dust removal hood, deflector plates, dust exhaust ports, dust collection cups, etc. Its working principle is to utilize the suction force generated by the cylinder during the intake stroke to create a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the air filter. Under the action of pressure, the external air enters the air filter at a relatively high speed, and the heavier dust mixed in the air is thrown into the dust collection cup, completing the air filtration.

1. Wet inertial air filter: The wet inertial air filter, also known as the oil bath filter, mainly consists of a central pipe and an oil pool. Its working principle is that the air enters the filter and descends at high speed along the central pipe. After reaching the oil level in the oil pool, the movement direction suddenly changed upward and a rotational movement occurred. At this point, some of the larger dust particles get stuck in the oil due to inertia and do not have time to move upward in the opposite direction to the air, thus completing the filtration of the air.
2. Dry filter type: Air filter type: Air filters are mainly composed of paper filter elements and sealing gaskets, etc. Its working principle is that when the air enters the filter, it is filtered through the paper filter element, causing the dust in the air to be separated by the filter element or adhere to it.
3. Wet filter Air filter Wet filters are mainly composed of metal filter screens immersed in oil. The working principle is that the gas filtered by the empty oil bath is blocked by tiny dust particles when passing through the metal filter screen immersed in the oil. Some of the dust particles adhere to it and fall into the oil pan along with the oil.

The function of the air filter is to filter out impurities or dust in the air and allow clean air to enter the cylinder.
