During the operation of the air filter, dust is constantly filtered out and accumulates in the filter element. The filter element gets clogged and the resistance gradually increases. When the dust level reaches a certain value, it will cause a certain decline in the performance of the diesel generator. Therefore, the filter element needs to be cleaned or replaced. During this period, the amount of dust stored in the air filter, or the length of time elapsed, or the mileage interval traveled, is called the dust storage capacity or service life. The dust concentration on roads varies greatly. When the same dust storage capacity is achieved, the mileage interval between generator sets can be quite different. To ensure that the maintenance of generator sets is synchronized, The recommended range for sedans is 6,000 to 8,000 kilometers per hour, for fixed diesel generators it is 300 hours, and for oil bath generators it is 100 hours.
The rated flow rate of the air filter refers to the air flow rate through the air outlet of the air filter under standard atmospheric conditions as specified in the product drawing of the air filter. It should match the air supply volume required by the diesel engine at the rated power. Unit: Cubic meters per hour (m ³ / h).
Heat resistance
Determine the high-temperature resistance performance of the adhesive at both ends of the filter element and the filter paper. Generally, two cycles from -40℃ to 120℃ are required, totaling 48 hours.
