Even if customers purchase high-quality automotive filters, improper installation may still lead to sealing failure, abnormal noise, weak airflow and unexpected filter damage. The first common error is reversed filter installation. Many technicians install the filter element in the wrong airflow direction. The filter media is designed with a specific air flow direction.
